Reflecting on this year’s World Mental Health Day, there is always areas we can improve mental health in the workplace. Yesterday our team took part in a Mental Health at Work workshop with Black Dog Institute. This practical and interactive workshop looked at ways to identify someone experiencing a mental health issue in the workplace, workplace culture, accessing EAP services and providing safe spaces in the workplace.

With plenty of resources and some role-play activities, this workshop was engaging and valuable for the whole team. By taking the time to check in with ourselves and those around us we can make mental health a priority every day of the year.

Black Dog Institute does incredible work in our community, and this month Prudence Rehab will be raising funds for them, with our team participating in the One Foot Forward walk. These funds will go toward research, education, and support for those struggling with mental health. Our team is well on track to make our goals again this year!
