About the Role…
Prudence Rehab is looking for a passionate and proactive Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver integrated onsite injury prevention, early intervention, and occupational rehabilitation services to key employer partners across South Australia.
This is a rewarding, people-focused role for a consultant who wants to go beyond case management—working directly onsite to support employee wellbeing, reduce workplace injuries, and build safer, healthier environments.

About the Role:
We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference—supporting people on their recovery journey and helping them regain confidence in work and life.
In this varied and engaging role, you’ll:
Prevent injuries before they happen
- Deliver pre-employment screening, functional assessments, and manual handling training
- Conduct ergonomic and risk assessments, task analysis, and job dictionary development
- Identify high-risk roles and contribute to injury prevention initiatives
Act fast on early warning signs
- Provide early intervention support for musculoskeletal issues
- Deliver on-the-spot clinical advice, triage minor injuries, and coordinate return-to-work strategies
- Offer proactive wellbeing coaching and stress support
- Provide audiometry and drug and alcohol testing
Support recovery and return to work
- Manage a caseload of injured workers with a focus on recovery and independence
- Collaborate with employers, workers, GPs, and insurers to develop tailored rehab plans
- Attend case conferences, prepare reports, and facilitate meaningful return-to-work outcomes
Be part of the worksite
- Build long-term relationships with onsite managers and teams
- Travel monthly to regional or interstate locations (travel expenses covered)
- Work flexibly, with non-onsite tasks completed remotely

- Allied Health qualified (EP, Physio)
- Registered with AHPRA or ESSA
- Minimum 1 year of clinical or occupational rehabilitation experience
- Excellent communication, empathy, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working independently onsite with virtual team support
- Driver’s licence for occasional travel
- Ergonomics experience (not essential)
